Το δικτυακό τεφτέρι μου skip to main | skip to sidebar Το δικτυακό τεφτέρι μου Το προσωπικό τεφτέρι του Κώστα Κουρεμένου, Ξεναγού και Μεταφραστή, www.athenstouristguide.gr Παρασκευή, Σεπτεμβρίου 04, 2020 Για τον αγαπητό φίλο και κουμπάρο μου, Νίκο Σκαλκώτα (1949-2020) Γνωριστήκαμε ένα βράδυ το 1973, μετά το τέλος των παρτίδων στο τότε εντευκτήριο της Ελληνικής Σκακιστικής Ομοσπονδίας, Ακαδημίας 72. Οι παρέες των σκακιστών συνέχιζαν τότε μέχρι πολύ αργά, είτε στην πλ. Βικτωρίας είτε στα Νούφαρα στο Κολονάκι (η κολόνα γράφεται με όμικρον), είτε στην ταβέρνα της οδού Έβρου. Μετά από λίγο γίναμε κολλητοί, για μια δεκαετία. Αγαπούσε το σκάκι και τη μουσική, διάβαζε λογοτεχνία. Από όργανα, το πιάνο, καθόταν κι έπαιζε με τις ώρες. Κλασικοθρεμμένος, Μπαχ, Μπετόβεν, Σούμπερτ οι μεγάλες του αγάπες. Το Συγκερασμένο, τα Κουαρτέτα εγχόρδων. Αργότερα είχε μια σεζόν μούρλιας με τη μουσική όπερας, είχε τρελαθεί στον Βέρντι κυρίως. Τον έπαιρνα τηλέφωνο και δυσκολευόμασταν να μιλήσο...
