É à cidade verticalizada, que faz do espaço tabuleiro e joga o escanteio no horizonte, que os trabalhos de Flávia Mielnik oferecem novas perspectivas. Ao flagrar e intervir nas camadas urbanas, a artista cria ilusões necessárias: planos de fundo e de futuro. O tapume que antes tapava, agora tapeia. Imagens à margem, ganham atenção.
