In two concert experiments, we asked participants to tap to a beat on their respective accelerometer-inclusive sensor devices. The imbedded tapping signatures allowed hundreds of recordings to be aligned in time, from deviations over 1000 ms (with variable clock drift as well as offsets) down to 100 ms (non-musicians) and 40 ms (professional musicians).
