I’m moving to Substack! In fact, I’ve already imported all of my old stuff and posted my first new piece over there . I wrote a few months ago about how much I miss the blogging culture that we had ten years ago. I love writing and I will probably always write. I value every commenter who has pushed my thinking over here (in fact I have a piece in the works inspired entirely by a recent commenter). But the reality is that Twitter is where the community around blogging has been the strongest for a while, and teacher Twitter is mostly dead. I miss the community of teacher bloggers that once existed. I have no idea if it will ever exist again, but I think Substack is the best chance to make that happen.
