Grow he did, about 6-1 with broad shoulders and long legs — a lanky, mirror-image frame akin to our father’s. Me? Not so much. We grew from different (DNA proved it) eggs, you see — his from an ostrich and me from a parakeet — and as the old joke goes, the yoke was on me, a slender, wispy-weight pipsqueak topping out at 5-7. More like our mom. What a difference being born six minutes apart meant, and what different fraternal-twin men we turned out to be. As young teens, he was into crystal sets and electronics and flying model airplanes while boasting a mathematical mind. Literally on the other hand — I was a lefty, he was a righty — I was enthralled with sports...
