The Friends of the Reading Public Library is a separate, non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to enhancing library services in the town of Reading. Each year we provide the library with roughly $40,000 to deliver programs not otherwise funded by the town. Our mission is to: provide enriching programming to support community interest; supplement library funding received from the town; support our talented library staff.
