[ Nota: Distinctia mi-a adus aminte de cea facuta de catre John Quincy Adams intre intelesurile diferite ale „poporului” folosite in aceeasi fraza din preambului celei mai vechi constitutii de stat, cea din Massachusetts, scrisa de tatal sau, John Adams – dar asta e o cu totul totului alta poveste. ] Ultimele zile mi le-am petrecut atat cu „baietii” cat si cu „baietii”. M-a vizitat prietenul din copilarie, cunoscut in liceu drept Zbengu, astazi profesor la West Virginia University, si-am mers „ca baietii” sa tragem cu pistolul si revolverul unde ne-au zis bietii mei.
