Posted by Katie Parker at 12:15 PM 1 comment: Saturday, May 14, 2016 Facade with Jordan Tate Images of Facade , a collaboration with Jordan Tate - curated by Elizabeth Denny . Facade was shown at SPRING/BREAK Art Show this March in NYC, and at Marshall University, WV in January. A mixed media approach to an European garden, Facade exposes the structures of artifice like an exploded diagram showcasing the trompe l'oeil and the foundation that supports it. A high/low rendering allows 3D to be flattened and 2D to be expanded. We are playing on these expectations while dismantling them at the same time, trying to recreate historic scenes that never existed.  Artfcity mention here  and slideshow . Posted by Katie ...
