What we do... Transcriptional regulation plays a fundamental role in development, homeostasis and the response to environmental cues. Indeed, mutations in regulatory regions have been associated with multiple pathologies including immune disorders, cancer, metabolic disorders, and developmental malformations. Our lab aims to delineate the gene regulatory networks that control different biological processes including immune responses and cell differentiation, and determine how these networks are rewired by germline and somatic variants. We tackle this by integrating high-throughput screening approaches, bioinformatics analyses, and cell biology follow-up studies.
