Sebaliknya ujar beliau, PDRM akan tampil secara terbuka dalam proses penguatkuasaan undang-undang termasuk peraturan lalulintas. Beliau seterusnya memberikan peringatan bahawa dengan pendekatan baru ini jika pengguna jalanraya disaman, mereka perlu menjelaskannya. Jawatankuasa Kempen Anti Saman Ekor (KASE) mengalu-alukan pengumuman tersebut kerana secara tidak langsung ia mengesahkan perjuangan KASE selama ini bahawa tindakan menyorok di belakang tiang, menyorok di dalam belukar dan di atas jejantas dalam operasi perangkap laju yang disusuli dengan Saman Ekor adalah bukan suatu cara pendidikan undang-undang yang baik.
