White Collection at the Cleveland Public Library, in association with Gomidas Institute, was honored to screen the first Kurdish film, ZARE (1927). Starring Maria Tenazi-Tadevosyan, this silent drama depicts a Yazidi romance in Russian Armenia. The screening was held at the library on 16 March 2019.
