Hellewell Family skip to main | skip to sidebar Wednesday, September 3, 2014 Update The last couple of months my Dad has been doing some experimental cancer treatments including chemotherapy and then a pill to try and stop the growth or at the very least slow it down. At a doctor's appointment today and after some cat scans, my parents decided to stop any further treatments. None of the measures that we've tried have been working and the side effects that come with chemo aren't worth it anymore. My parents have decided to stop going to the Huntsman Center for treatments and have hospice start coming to their home to facilitate any needs my Dad has going forth. From here on out our main effort is to try and keep him comfortable and out of as much pain as we can.
