Dengan demikian calon anggota yang didapatkan benar-benar sehat baik secara fisik maupun mental-emosional. Pemeriksaan yang dilakukan melalui 2 tahap yaitu tahap pemeriksaan tertulis dan wawancara psikiatri yang mendalam. Beberapa aspek yang dinilai antara lain: (1) Sikap (2) Cara berbicara (3) Tingkah laku (4) Kontak psikis dan perhatian (5) Keadaan emosi (mood dan afek) (6) Fungsi intelektual (7) Keadaan persepsi (8) Proses berpikir.
