The top of the image is a serpentinised leucotroctolite (anothosite and olivine) cumulate from the lower crust and the lower part is serpentinised peridotite from the mantle. Coverack, Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall. Note: In reality, at Coverack, the sequence passes from gabbro, interlayered gabbros, troctolites and serpentinised peridotites, to just serpentinites over ~100m so there is a transition zone rather than a sharp boundary.
