Nama Chaseiro adalah singkatan dari nama depan anggota-anggotanya antara lain, Candra Darusman (vokal, keyboard), Helmi Indrakesuma (vokal), Aswin Sastrowardoyo (vokal, gitar), Edwin Hudioro (flute), Irwan B. Indrakesuma (vokal), Rizali Indrakesuma (vokal, bass), Omen Norman Sonisontani (vokal). Pemuda merupakan album pertama kelompok vokal Chaseiro. Album ini dirilis pada tahun 1979. Lagu pemuda merupakan lagu yang sangat populer sampai saat ini, terutama pada momen sumpah pemuda yang jatuh setiap tanggal 28 Oktober setiap tahunnya. Lagu ini mengandung pesan semangat persatuan pemuda yang disebut-sebut sebagai tonggak perubahan bangsa untuk senantiasa berjuang dan berkorban demi cita-cita bersama, dan terwujudnya keadaan yang lebih baik.
