Dari sebuah kabar burung lahir kecurigaan, kebencian, fitnah, tekanan dan luka hati yang dalam. Rumah tangga diobrak-abrik, keluarga menjadi hancur berantakan, sebuah gereja terjadi keributan besar dan akhirnya bubar, seseorang kehilangan pekerjaan, dan akibat-akibat fatal lainnya. Ironisnya, semuanya itu berasal dari desas-desus yang tak jelas kebenarannya dan asal-usulnya. Bagaimana seandainya seseorang menceritakan desas desus kepada kita? Jika kita menerima cerita itu dan menceritakannya kepada orang lain, maka sama saja kita menjadi bagian dari rantai kebohongan yang tak ada habisnya. Lalu bagaimana kita bisa menangkal...
