insideSounds – Memphis Music Home Artists Releases About Contact Home Artists Releases About Contact Welcome to Inside Sounds Facebook SoundCloud YouTube A brief history of inside sounds Inside Sounds was founded by Eddie Dattel in November of 1991 with the goal of establishing a record label in the tradition of an earlier era of successful independent Memphis labels. In 1992, Inside Sounds began working with WONDERS: The Memphis International Cultural Series in recording Music of the Napoleonic Era in conjunction with the Napoleon exhibit. The CD was enormously successful and paved the way for producing more exhibition recordings including the 1997 recording Music Aboard The Titanic for the blockbuster exhibition Titanic and most recently The Art of the Motorcycle: Songs of the Open Road.
