Jenn's Recipes Jenn's Recipes visitors this week Sunday, September 18, 2016 Chicken & Wild Rice Soup 🍽 1C. Diced onion 1C. Diced celery 2-3 T. Butter Sauté onion & celery in butter using a heavy soup pot Add 1 large can Swanson chicken broth (48oz) + 14oz broth. Bring to a low boil and add 1 cup diced carrots.  Add 1 6oz box Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice & seasoning packet. Simmer on low for 20 minutes.  Dissolve 2 chicken bouillon cubes in 2C water. Mix in 1 pint heavy whipping cream. Whisk in 3/4 C. Flour.  Add above mixture to soup pot with 2Tbs fresh flat leaf parsley, 2 pinches coarse ground pepper& a "shake" of cloves.  Simmer on LOW until soup thickens.
