This is a blog about faith, family and motherhood. It highlights my life experiences and is written from the perspective of Generation X , the 13th generation of Americans born between 1961 and 1981. My generation. My name is Jennifer (appropriate) and I’m a first-wave Gen-Xer. I was born in East L.A. (street cred) in 1967, and have lived in the Heartland since I was 11-years-old. I grew up in small towns in the Permian Basin of West Texas; the Arkansas River Valley; the piney woods of East Texas; the Chautauqua Hills of Southeast Kansas, and Northeast Oklahoma. What a life!
