Eric and Jillian Ringer Thursday, April 5, 2012 Water Bug or Roach Living in San Francisco comes with the benefits of awesome weather. Some summer days that are blistering hot in other parts of California are nice and chilli here in the Bay Area. And winter doesn't get too cold either. Living in San Francisco also means seeing bugs because the weather is so nice. We see large black bugs on the sidewalks sometimes at night. I had the question of whether it is a water bug or roach . Well turns out they are one in the same.
