I was eagerly looking forward to the final cut of this project. (I’d seen an earlier edit of the movie probably about two years ago.) To cut to the chase: Bright Spark is beautifully even-handed and hits closer to home in specific ways than any movie I’ve ever seen. Bright Spark is about the generation of Latter-day Saint artists that taught and mentored my generation.
