Joel Julin Joel Julin I am a Master's in Robotics (MSR) student at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). I am currently advised by László Jeni where I work on 3D vision problems. The goal of my research is to allow virtual scenes to be indistinguishable from reality. Prior to CMU, I graduated from The University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) with a degree in computer science. While at Pitt, I conducted research with the Ci2Cv computer vision lab at CMU's RI under Simon Lucey (now director of the Australian Institute of Machine Learning at The University of Adelaide ).
