John and Aileen sometimes on the road John and Aileen sometimes on the road Saturday, November 2, 2024 FALL RAIN, COLOUR AND ANIMALS IN MY NEIGHBOURHOOD.   All but the sheep were taken walking from home.  Aileen and I took a short drive above Vaseux Lake to find the sheep.  We had some light rain the past couple days and I see the snow is well down the hills around us.  McIntyre Creek flows by our house right across the street. Male House Sparrow. Female House Sparrows. Female House Sparrow. McIntyre Creek in the rain. McIntyre Creek reflection. Along McIntyre Creek. Along McIntyre Creek. Cottonwood through the Sumac. Cottonwood.  Looking up McIntyre Creek from our deck. Northern Flicker. Great Blue Heron across the river from me. Tired looking Bighorn Sheep ram. Moments later he was sound asleep. Ewes.
