I thought about him from time to time over the summer, and I felt that I managed my grief well. It was all good until I got back to work on Thursday. I woke up at 4am that morning, thinking about J and my homeroom kids from last year. It seems that I picked up my grief bag unwillingly from where I left at the end of last school year.
