About Karsten Roth Karsten Roth CV   @confusezius @karsten-roth @Confusezius Karsten Roth   About me (click to collapse) I am a IMPRS-IS & ELLIS PhD Student currently at the Explainable Machine Learning Group Tübingen advised by Zeynep Akata (University Tübingen) and Oriol Vinyals (Deepmind) . My research focuses on understanding and facilitating effective representation learning under distribution shifts , with applications to continual, self-supervised and contrastive learning. I am also very interested in the applications to the medical and natural science domain.
