Last week, I had 2 and a half wonderful days in Darmstadt — thanks to the lovely Dagmar! Our little Iona-revival was absolutely wonderful. Besides lots of long talks, the botanic garden with lots of beautiful planty creatures in it, watching a movie, skyping with crazy people on Iona and drinking loads of tea out of Dagmars (non-straight) tea mugs, we did of course do some cooking and baking (given the fact that we were both kitchen vollies this is not at all surprising). We had abbey style roast vegetable quiche, spinach rolls a cheese cake and, of course, banoffi pie. Mnjom! And in the end, Dagmar gave me a Iona-jetty-style wave off at the train platform with airplaines, chickens, meer...
