Kernel Planet Kernel Planet March 17, 2024 Linux Plumbers Conference : eBPF Track Linux Plumbers Conference 2024 is pleased to host the eBPF Track! After four years in a row of co-locating eBPF & Networking Tracks together, this year we separated the two in order to allow for both tracks to grow further individually as well as to bring more diversity into LPC by attracting more developers from each community. The eBPF Track is going to bring together developers, maintainers, and other contributors from all around the globe to discuss improvements to the Linux kernel’s BPF subsystem and its surrounding user space ecosystem such as libraries, loaders, compiler backends, and other related low-level system tooling. The gathering is designed to foster collaboration and face to face discussion of ongoing development topics as well as to encourage bringing new ideas into the development community for the advancement of the BPF subsystem.
