Sie hat lange Zeit mein Leben bestimmt. Ich habe auf vieles verzichtet, aus Angst, ich würde mich dann in eine Situation begeben, die bei mir Panik auslöst. Klingt absurd? Ist es nicht. Wer einmal in den „Genuss“ einer ausgewachsenen Panikattacke gekommen ist, wird alles daran setzen, diese zu umgehen. Auch wenn das heißt, dass man auf schöne Momente verzichten muss. Eigentlich will man das nicht, aber wenn die Angst einen erst mal im Griff hat, kommt man so schnell nicht mehr los. 2015 habe ich angefangen, in meinem Bekanntenkreis über diese Ängste zu sprechen. Dabei stieß ich auf offene Ohren und viel Verständnis – Danke dafür (das kann ich nicht oft genug sagen)! Im Prinzip war das ein erster Testballon. Wie reagieren andere auf mein Problem?
