Då finns det två alternativ till att jag sitter här och kan kontemplera detta: 1. Antingen skapade Gud oss människor genom att likt en konstnär påverka evolutionsprocessen på jorden handgripligen. 2. Eller så har Gud skapat universum på ett sådant sätt att det är en naturlag att universum automatiskt producerar sociala varelser som kan tänka kognitivt och använda verktyg för att skapa avancerade civilisationer genom evolutionen. Vad han däremot inte kan ha gjort är att skapa universum och bara hoppats på att det ska frambringa avancerade sociala varelser som kan tänka kognitivt och använda verktyg för att skapa avancerade civilisationer. Är det så, och detta gäller oavsett om det finns en Gud eller inte, att det bara är slumpen som avgör om avancerade varelser som kan använda verktyg för att bygga en civilisation ska utvecklas så är det långt ifrån ...
