KniPPsen 2024-01-25 Filmhersteller - Kurzportraits (Teil 1) Bei meinen Recherchen zum Artikel Kleinbildfotografie aus der Filmperspektive habe ich mich zwangsläufig auch mit den Filmherstellern beschäftig. Deren Geschichten sind auch sehr interessant und natürlich mit der technischen, wirtschaftlichen und historischen Entwicklung der Rollfilm- und Kleinbildfotografie eng verknüpft. Während die Fotoplattenherstellung ab Anfang der 1880er mit der Erfindung der Trockenplatte überall im Land von kleineren Manufakturen aufgenommen und weiterentwickelt wurde, waren die Hürden für die Filmhersteller ab ca. 1900 ungleich höher. Einige (sowie wie Agfa 1905) gaben nach ersten wohl gescheiterten Versuchen entnervt wieder auf. Das Filmangebot bei Photo Porst 1932.
