Why I Blog Saturday, September 14, 2024 Constitution Day 2024 Constitution Day occurs every year on September 17 and is the perfect opportunity to discuss the Constitution itself and general principles of citizenship. We are mainly focusing on memorizing the preamble and discussing the overarching principles contained in the Constitution this year since the kids are still young, but I love that we are establishing the tradition of celebrating this after year and we will add depth and complexity as they grow. We will always include watching the classic School House Rock video, however. It's still stuck in my head from when I was in elementary school!
