Perché, ammettiamolo, dire “no” è quasi sempre estremamente difficile, anche quando lo percepiamo fortemente dal di dentro e vorremmo gridarlo al mondo intero. Dobbiamo riflettere, imparare a respirare, dargli lo spazio e il tempo necessari affinché sia un “no” maturo, irreversibile e – infine – dobbiamo esternarlo con garbo, cercando di non urtare la suscettibilità dell’altro. Ci facciamo carico delle conseguenze eventuali, ma – sebbene ragionato – arriva un momento in cui smettiamo persino di voler spiegare, di voler giustificare, di voler dire qualsiasi cosa.
