Urmarind serialul „Game of Thones” si „House of Dragon” precum si seria de filme „Lord of the Rings” si „The Hobbit” am fost intrigat de un aspect care mi-a starnit curiozitatea, asa ca am studiat hartile oficiale printate ale „Lord of The Rings” si „Game of Thrones”. Este de remarcat ca atat serialul „Games of Thrones” cat si harta printata a acestui univers fantastic concentreaza atentia privitorului asupra vestului. Despre popoarele din Essos (lumea estica) harta ofera putine detalii despre denumiri si orase. Mai mult de atat, popoarele din acest spatiu sunt portretizate in termeni mai depreciativi, ca barbare (Dothraki), violente (Qarth), corupte (Yunkai), pline de „oligarhi” (Orasele Sclavilor).
