Is it enough experience to prepare us to be the best educators we can be? Is it enough to decide if this is the career we are best suited to? Is it enough to establish and maintain relationships with our students, mentors and schools? I know some students vounteer at their local schools for the extra experience and to increase their employment opportunites. Education Queensland states that volunteering at your local school (as a parent or preservice educator) helps build positive relationships between you and the school community.
