Probabil sună mai bine, dar e greșit. Forma corectă este chinezi . La forma de singular chinez se adaugă desinența de plural i specifică substantivelor masculine ( bărbat – barbaț i , băiat – băieț i ). Atenție! În scris, dacă forma de plural este articulată hotărât, apar doi i : chin ez ii (primul i este desinența de plural, iar al doilea i este articolul hotărât).
