Meditațiile sale pe tema imaginii-timp, așa cum au fost transpuse cinematografic, au creat un monopol peisagistic în SF-ul metafizic. Cum să mai filmezi schele oxidate și clădiri părăsite, pereți mucegăiți și nămoluri învăluite în ceață fără să fii tarkovskian, fără să nu te revendici din Călăuza ? Nu, nu prea ai cum să eviți asta.
