This for me was the Toolbelt Theory. If you are not familiar with what this is I suggest you visit this page . For me this theory is all about empowerment. It is about giving our students the essential skills and knowledge to allow them to become adaptable and prepared life long learners. It steers away from using the defect model and is instead about embracing strengths and using these to compensate for and overcome weaknesses. It is about acknowledging that every student is different and that therefore every student will learn differently.
