I borrowed that line from my old artistic director who gave a presentation during intermission of our school-show performances of the Nutcracker. I borrowed a few things from him and a few other teachers when I taught a few kids in the local university’s music outreach program this week. I taught two music and movement classes with the director of the university’s music program. It wasn’t your traditional 90-minute barre-centre class.
