L'idea era di rallentare il passo, parecchio, perché pensavano che tutti noi in fondo volessimo martellate bestiali sulle nostre incazzature represse, che ne bastassero tre in cinque minuti per ridurre tutto in sabbia, piuttosto che quelle becchettate isteriche da picchio, tipo Kreator, che dopo quindici anni forse ne avevano scalfito un mattone. Era la faccenda del grip: tutti nel thrash acceleravano a pisello su una lotus da 300 kg, i Pantera invece scalavano in seconda su un pickup truccato da due tonnellate, lasciando mezzo pneumatico sull'asfalto.
