The Luis Alba negatives The Luis Alba negatives A sample with photos from the measure of Uruguay (1913), two portraits of Cesar Pesce Castro, the famous Uruguayan painter, Gaucho labor in deep country, and the Montevideo harbor in the early 20th century. Images obtained from 122 rollfilm negatives, by photographing the negs over a light table and correcting gray levels with software. Distorsion, some focus problems and uneven illumination are artifacts, caused by the inadequate digitization procedure.
