These dogs are thinkers. They read you just as much as you do them. When they look at you, they tend to stare straight into your soul . . . and they just know. Candy Lou had that sparkle. She was quick and curious. Playful and strong. She was scrappy and sweet, loyal and fiercely independent. She was our alpha. She was my mini -- or at least what I wanted my mini to be.
