Multa informatie a fost publicata de profesorului meu Vasile Bizovi in monografia “Boianului”. Cu parere de rau, lucrarea a fost editata dupa moartea profesorului si sunt sigur ca daca Dumnezeu ii mai sortea cativa ani de viata aceasta monografie a avea sa fie mult mai bogata in informatie. Cand lam vizitat la spital, prof. Bizovi, intelegand ca degraba isi da sufletul in mainele Domnului, m-a prins de mana si imi spuse: “Sa ai grija de istoria Boianului. Auzi? Sa ai grija!”. O sa am – am raspuns. Astfel, va propun sa faceti cunostinta cu istoria acestui sat mandru romanesc. Aceste pagini in mare parte completeaza monografia Boianului a lui prof.
