O tempo passa e reforça meu convencimento de que a gratidão é sim(!) a virtude das almas nobres, e que talvez por isso, seja tão rara. Tem gente que fica feliz quando lhes prestamos algum favor e até sentimos que os laços de amizade se estreitam. Mas tem outros - e não são poucos - que esquecem rapidamente a ajuda que receberam. Gente egoísta que mede a gratidão pelo próprio ego e respira a lógica absurda de que (só eles!) são os grandes merecedores das benesses do mundo! Ingratos, é isso ...
