Only when the smoke clears, one realizes what questions one should have posed first in order to avoid side tracks. I started the development of the model for the solar anomalies (see this ) from the idea that the surface of the Sun involves a monopole flux tube layer carrying M 89 nucleons having mass 512 times that of ordinary nucleons. Among other things, this would explain the missing nuclear matter of the Sun, the evidence for solid structures at the surface of the Sun, and gamma ray anomalies.
