It’s cool to see a typically ‘Jap’ approach to a European motor, and there’s a lot of cool parts on the Y’s Factory M5 – check out the monster Project Mu brakes, Recaro seats and carbon splitter. But why’s it gone so wrong at the rear? Riveted heat shields… not bad, carbon spoiler, hmm a little odd… 5in mad-angle exhausts, what the feck? They’d look better suited on a Saxo from 1999. Saying that, 5.0-litre V10 with no silencers would be awesome, and with the interior pretty stripped too it must be a right ol’ laugh to drive.
