If you are unsure on what authentic assessment is, then this website will definitely help you find meaning! It is only common knowledge that when we become teachers we will need to provide students with assessment pieces, however I am so worried that I will create assessment that is not authentic, and hence willnot help students work towards the goals that are stated in the curriculum! Considering that fear, I have found assignments that revolve around making assessment pieces so rewarding simply due to the feedback I receive!
