Our children are busier today than they were in decades gone by. There is a greater expectation on students in terms of the curriculum and many are involved in extra curricula activities after school. I find the idea of  imposing homework tasks on students, only adds stress to busy families. If any type of work needs to be done at home, it should be beneficial to the individual student, and on a needs basis.
