For me, it’s a combination of visual and dialogue–that’s all I see when I start a project. To ‘novelize’ what I see is the hard part. I don’t think in lovely flowing sentences so it takes me some time to fill-in around the dialogue. It’s why I pursued screenwriting and playwriting in school. But then something happened way back then, and I started getting some recognition for my short stories.
