I had thought possibly of going out if I woke early before we did some shopping planned in Poole. Instead I kayaked in the bay and alongside Anne as she walked along the seafront.I started a little earlier and mether by Monkey Beach. Anne met up with our friends Paul and Jean, so the three of them and their dachshund walked together. Early on near the Mowlem I came too far into shore and was hit broadside by a few small breaking waves. I stayed upright but got splashed which was cooling.
