By means of an interdisciplinary approach and a theoretically sophisticated framework, this project aims to explore the life of Santa Maria de Pedralbes, Santa Maria de Jerusalem, Santa Caterina, and Sant Agustí Vell, four monastic houses (belonging to two female and two male orders respectively) as well as El Born, a secular site, through a series of joint lines of enquiry based mainly on the analysis and interpretation of animal and human skeletal remains.
